Originally From: I was born in Washington DC and was raised in Falls Church. Since then, I have lived all over the world. I came back to the DC area 15 years ago with my husband to raise our two daughters.
What do you enjoy most about being a teacher? I love helping children learn through play. I particularly love reading wonderful picture books to children from my collection.
Special Interests: I hold an MFA in writing for children and young adults and enjoy writing fiction. I served in the Peace Corps in Cameroon where I worked in community development. I also love to paint (abstract).
