CCBC Children’s Center Board of Directors
CCBC Children’s Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit governed by a Board of Directors. The Board is made up of members of our parent community and three representatives from the staff: the Director, the Assistant Director and a Teacher Representative. While the day to day operations are overseen by the school administration, the Board is responsible for broad financial oversight, providing and supporting long term goals and direction, ensuring ethical operations, supervision of the Director, and fundraising on behalf of the school. All Board meetings are open to the CCBC Children’s Center community and occur the second Tuesday of each month at 7 PM.
Hugh McDermott
Board Chair
Hugh McDermott is currently serving on the board for his third year. He has previously served as Treasurer. Hugh has a child in the Bumblebees class and a CCBC graduate at Lafayette Elementary School.
Christine Stuckey
Board Vice Chair
Christine Stuckey is currently serving on the board for her third year. She previously served as Board Chair. Christine has a child in the Kangaroos class and a CCBC graduate attending Beauvoir.
Gen Lewis
Board Secretary
Genevieve Lewis is currently serving on the board for her fifth year. Gen was previously the Community Outreach Chair. She has a child in the Kangaroos class and a CCBC graduate at Washington Episcopal School.
Will Leibner
Board Treasurer
Will Leibner is currently serving on the board for his first year. He has a child in the Circus class.
Courtney Levine
Fundraising Chair
Courtney Levine is currently serving her second year on the board. She was formerly the Room Parent Chair. She has a child in the PreK Stars and twins in the Bumblebees class.
Rebecca Guiterman
Community Outreach Chair
Rebecca Guiterman is currently serving her first year on the board. She has a child in the Grasshopper class.
Emily Threadgill
Outplacement and Parent Relations Chair
Emily Threadgill is currently serving her third year on the board. She was previously the Fundraising Chair. She has a child in the Pre K Stars class and CCBC graduate at Blessed Sacrament.
Chris Dietz
Room Parent Chair
Chris Dietz is currently serving his first year on the board. He has a child in the Kangaroos class and a CCBC graduate at Lafayette Elementary School.
Mabel Regalado
Teacher Representative
Mabel is a teacher in the Stars class. She has been at CCBC for sixteen years and serving her fifth year on the board.
Emma Hatton
Director
Emma is the Director of CCBC. She has been with the school for three years.
Maria Macalinao
Assistant Director
Maria is the Assistant Director and the Director of Auxiliary Programming at CCBC. She has been at CCBC for 19 years and has two CCBC graduates attending MCPS schools.
